10th annual OERC Symposium 2016 & Transport Colloquium

Celebrating 10 years of the Otago Energy Research Centre

10 – 11 November 2016 at the Hutton Theatre, Otago Museum

Online Registration is open for our 10th OERC Symposium on 10th and 11th November. The event will be opened by Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Richard Blaikie, with keynote speakers:

  • Andrew Jackson, Deputy Chief Executive of the Ministry of Transport
  • Greg Sise, Managing Director of Energy Link
  • OERC Founder Gerry Carrington with Janet Stephenson
  • Councillor Chris Staynes, Dunedin City Council

There will be Poster presentations on 11th, a Symposium dinner on the evening of 10th November and Energy Link are sponsoring a $1000 ‘Best student paper prize’.

This year the OERC are also combining with the newly formed Transport Research Network who will be holding a Transport colloquium on the afternoon of 10th November (Day 1) and a display of innovative vehicles in the museum car park at lunch time. Registration for the Colloquium is combined with the OERC registration, simply select Day 1 if you do not want to attend the OERC symposium.
